Cosmetic Fillers & Neuromodulators

Experience natural-looking results with non-surgical treatments. The most unique and delicate features we have are our facial features. So, even the tiniest changes on our face can significantly impact our appearance. Even women and men in their late 20’s are experiencing signs of aging such as wrinkles or fine lines that can create a self-conscious feeling about oneself. Injectables reduce the appearance of these fine lines and wrinkles. In addition, these treatments can soften forehead lines, diminish crow’s feet, fuller lips, shape and lift the brows, as well as smooth out the lines between your eyebrows.

Facial Fillers are used to volumize and rejuvenate the skin. In addition, they can provide lift and contour to the cheek and jawline areas, reduce smile and marionette lines, and add temporary volume and definition to your lips.

Botox

Revitalize your appearance by improving crow’s feet and frown lines with Botox. Overactive facial muscles often cause deep facial wrinkles, particularly forehead creases, furrows between the eyebrows, and crow’s feet. Botox targets and relaxes these muscles, reducing the overlying wrinkles.

Dysport

Dysport works to smooth fine lines and wrinkles caused by muscular contraction. This versatile wrinkle treatment is similar to Botox and belongs to the same pharmaceutical family. Treatment and results prove similar—rejuvenating trouble areas with a smooth, even texture. The rewards program associated with Botox and Dysport is Allē.

Juvéderm

Juvéderm is a dermal gel filler made of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance already found in the body that provides structure and volume to the skin. It helps restore the loss of volume in the treated areas.

This temporary filler is wonderful at treating many areas, including marionette lines, smile lines, lips, noses, ear lobes, cheeks. Clinical studies have shown that it can last upwards on one-year, depending on placement. The rewards program associated with Juvéderm is called Brilliant Distinctions.

Restylane

The Restylane family consists of Restylane, Restylane Silk, Restylane Lyft, Kysse, Refyne, and Defyne. This family of fillers is also excellent for facial rejuvenation, from fine lines to deep folds. These are most commonly used to restore areas around the nose and mouth.

We will discuss the function and longevity of each product and help you choose which products best suit your needs during a consultation. We will also inform you of any before or aftercare recommended at your consultation. The rewards program associated with Restylane Products is Aspire.

PDO Threads

PDO threads utilize fine, absorbable threads (thinner than a strand of hair) that suture sagging skin tissue into place. Following the superficial implantation of these threads, the skin reacts to the micro-injuries stimulating collagen production and tissue contraction for a non-invasive lift and skin tightening without a trace of the dissolved threads. As a result, PDO Threads revolutionizes how men and women treat sagging skin—specifically around their neck and jawline.

In the aesthetic industry, terms like selective inflammatory response are the core behind many procedures (such as Lasers, Chemical Peels & Microneedling). This is because our bodies and skin are very good at repairing themselves. By inserting PDO threads, we make it ‘heal’ itself by creating new collagen with the inflammatory response and giving you fantastic instant results.

Your body will gently react to the response of the threads that have been inserted into the treatment area. PDO, over time, is fully absorbable during the 4 to 6 months needed to absorb the actual thread fully. Your body is also repairing itself around the thread. It’s controlled healing due to the inflammatory response underneath the treatment area.

Although threads can be inserted almost anywhere, one area where they are especially effective is the neck and jawline. They can also be used effectively with Botox, dermal fillers, laser treatments, etc.

Many patients return to regular activity 24 hours after treatment. With PDO Threads, you will have very little to no downtime at all. Slight bruising may occur, but this is only temporary and resolves typically within a few days.

Silhouette Threads

Silhouette Soft Lift is an excellent and effective technique to lift and tighten sagging tissues.

Fat and tissue in the face naturally drop during the aging process, causing drooping and sagging of the skin. Silhouettes are an excellent treatment for the neck area.

Silhouette Soft redefines facial contours and stimulates collagen production. The threads are made from PLGA (Poly Lactic-co Glycolic Acid) and re-absorbable bi-directional cones to lift and suspend the sagging tissues. The thread forms an integrated support structure for the facial tissue due to collagen production.
The lifting effect is at its peak at six months when collagen has formed around the threads. The longevity of the results varies between patients; at the consultation, we will discuss expectations with you.

Silhouette Soft Threads can be safely used with Botox, fillers, and other skin resurfacing procedures.

Hand Rejuvenation

Your hands typically do not get the same attention as your face, neck, or chest from skincare and treatments. The effects of aging are sometimes more visible in your hands, not only because the skin is thinner, but your hands are constantly subject to harsh elements such as the sun while driving, daily cleaning and chemicals are just a few examples of why the aging process of the hands can happen so rapidly.

As we age, the skin on our hands can become thinner due to loss of fat, the already thin layer of skin starting to lose collagen and volume resulting in a bony appearance with bulging veins.

The Skin Bar Medspa can get your hands looking restored and significantly improve the appearance by using dermal fillers; this will restore volume and help minimize the appearance of the veins.

Botox Lip Flip vs Lip Filler

Many women are searching for those full, pouty lips that they see on celebrities. Some people are blessed with this desirable aesthetic, but there are ways to obtain those beautiful lips if you are not. These new technologies and innovations taking place in cosmetics can help enhance your lips.

Two methods are commonly used to enhance lips depending on the desired results. One is a “Lip Flip,” and the other is a cosmetic lip filler.

The terms lip flip and lip filler are often used interchangeably, and many people think they are the same. However, there is a vast difference between the two. A lip flip uses Botox to relax the muscles in the lips, whereas with lip filler, a dermal filler inserts a compound into your lips to make them fuller and plumper.

Botox Lip Flip

Lip flip is a treatment in which Botox is injected into the muscles above the upper lip to restrict the muscles from contracting. Relaxing these muscles allows the upper lip to roll slightly upward, making more of the upper lip visible. Botox is injected gradually in small amounts until the desired look is achieved.

These injections are done only on the upper lip. Clients notice changes in a few days, with full results observable in one week.

This treatment is for clients who want a fuller lips appearance without adding volume – the results achieved through the Botox lip flip last about four months and provide a subtle yet noticeable difference.

Lip Fillers

Lip fillers make the lips physically fuller and plumper. A gel composed of a compound (typically hyaluronic acid) found naturally in the human body is injected into the lips and can improve overall shape and symmetry. Lip fillers can also reduce and smooth severe vertical lip lines.

Lip fillers can be used on both upper and lower lips. The results achieved typically last about six months, but it varies depending on the filler used and the person.

Clients with very thin lips may want to combine a lip flip with lip fillers. The fillers can increase volume, and the Botox will lift the upper lip slightly to achieve a lovely effect.

Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for excessive sweating that is commonly a chronic condition affecting an estimated 7.8 million (or almost 3 percent) of the U.S. population. People with hyperhidrosis produce an amount of sweat that far exceeds that needed to regulate body temperature. Botox is used to resolve this issue.

Hyperdiluted Radiesse

Are you bothered by lax and sagging skin on your neck? The aging neck is a concern for men and women alike. Surgery was the only option to repair skin laxity in the neck area at one time. However, crepe-like skin, sun-damaged or sagging skin on the chest and arms were almost impossible to treat.

Radiesse has been used as a filler since 2006. The Hyperduluted Radiesse is a biostimulating treatment with collagen regenerating properties. When Radiesse is hyper-diluted (mixed with saline and lidocaine to thin it out) and injected superficially under aging skin, it is bio-stimulating rather than a volumizer. Results will take time; improvement can be seen as early as four weeks and continue over four months.

Your final results are achieved at nine months, allowing your body to develop new collagen. Typically two treatments are needed to achieve desired results.

You will have mild discomfort, minimal bruising, and little to no swelling with Hyperduluted Radiesse.
